This flash animation of my solar water heater -- a passive thermo-siphon with no moving parts -- simulates a thermal camera view highlighting the movements and changes of the water itself which is the only thing moving through the system as the heat of the sun warms it up.
This device is a good thing because it can help reduce carbon dioxide emissions from a conventional water heater, and it absorbs the sun’s heat to fight global warming.
